The Boardroom allows Business Owners to achieve new knowledge, skills and insights to their business through group support with both peer and self mentoring.
Each Boardroom has only one carefully chosen quality business per sector offering a range of complimenetary services at the table – powerful, effective and long lasting. The Boardroom facilitates change through honest and forthright feedback, goal setting and continual review in an environment backed with 100% confidentiality.
Each Boardroom meets for a total on 10 monthly meetings initially on a Monday between 9.00am and 12 noon – the group will then be free to agree and reschedule to suit once established.

Who is the ideal member
A business owner able to make decisions and effect changes – self employed to 5 employees or associates usually benefit the most
Where are the meetings held
For 2012 the venues will be in Fife, Edinburgh and Tayside. The meeting venues are easy to access and offer comfortable surroundings to enable discussion and growth
Who runs the Boardroom
Janet Torley chairs each Boardroom and brings her wealth of experience and knowledge of the small business market to the table. BUT the power of the Board lies with the members

At The Boardoom each meeting follows a simple agenda
9.00 am - Arrival and Coffee
9.15 am - Welcome & Member Highlights from previous month and Commitment Report�
9.30 am - Monthly topic which might include:-
- Outsource vs Hiring
- Tax / Money / Finance
- Hiring / Firing / Interviewing / Appraisals
- Team Building
- Working on not in the Business / Time Management
- Marketing / Sales / Profitability
- Business coping strategies
11.30 am - Ask for……the business – take advantage of fellow Board members connections by asking for help, introductions, business contacts…. Each Board members will make a new commitment for a task or goal to be achieved before the next meeting.
12.00 noon – Finish
How Much?
The business investment is ££650 in total paid by 10 monthly Standing Orders and joining will mean a commitment to 9 meetings minimum Monthly costs includes all refreshments.
